Stowe Derby

Teams

EverbankRally friends, co-workers and family to create a team of four to compete in the EverBank Team Challenge. It is easy, fun, and a great opportunity to introduce someone new to the Stowe Derby while challenging friends and other area businesses. Team results will be based on all four combined times. Each racer still qualifies in the individual results. All members must be already signed up individually before a team can be registered. Tons of fun prizes to be won, and only $20 to sign up the team in addition to individual registration fee. Prizes, raffles, bragging rights and more… Be a part of it!
Rules

Each team enters in one of four categories:

  • Skate Average team age 40 and under
  • Skate Average team Age over 40
  • Classic Average team age 40 and under
  • Classic Average team Age over 40
  • Each Team must have at least ONE woman.
  • No Short Course teams
  • All team participants must be signed up in the SAME Long course race, i.e. Skate OR Classic
  • All racers must finish to receive a team result.
  • ALL teams must be signed up by February 19th.
  • NO CHANGES

SEEDING RULES Your team does not need to ski together. If any of your racers have skied in the Derby in the past two years, they will be seeded according to past years’ finish. If your team wishes to race in the same wave, the team will be seeded according to the weakest skier, or according to date of registration. Your Team Captain is responsible for advising organizers if your team wishes to race together or not.
 
Registration

Each racer must sign up and pay individually as usual. You can register online here.

Team Captain must include an email address and phone number where he/she can be reached. Include a Team Name at time of registration. The Captain is responsible for getting proper name spelling and exact age of each team member. Errors or mistakes will lead to disqualification of the team. Include info relating to your team (family members, co-workers, school, club, etc)

Why not find a team sponsor? If a company wishes to pay for your team, their team logo and a link will be included on the Stowe Derby Web page. The Team Captain is responsible for providing the material. PRIZES!

Fees
