Time flies when you're having fun and it seems that the new year crept up on us...  Now time to get geared up for one more edition of the Stowe Derby!

We are not planning to many drastic changes this year but here a few announcements worth mentioning.

The Stowe Derby RECON will be back for a second edition on Thursday, February 10th at 1:30pm.  Based on last year's success, we are happy to give everyone yet another chance at practicing the course descent.  On hand will be our coaches Sam von Trapp, and David and Trina Hosmer.  This event is brought to you by MVP Health Care and will benefit the Vermont Ski Museum.  Find our more detail on the website.

The Vermont Sports January issue is fresh off the press.  Hurry and get your hands on a copy and read an excellent article about the Stowe Derby on page 8.  Kirk Kardashian did an amazing job at capturing the essence of this "adventure" race - and yes, he is coming back for more this year!

We are welcoming fun (or serious) short articles about YOUR personal experience racing in the Stowe Derby.  For many years now, the Stowe Reporter generously donates weekly space to support and promote this unique Stowe event.  Please send us your article (and  picture if you can) at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
